In Spain the tradition of authentic Paella making is passed on from generation to generation. Ola’s Chef Jose Luis Flores will teach students the classic techniques with a special Miami flair

As guests enter they will be greeted with Red and White Sangria. Chef Jose will guide students through a step by step preparation of Spanish Paella, using a special paella pan and all traditional ingredients. Chef will then show students how to put a creative Nuevo Latino twist, adding unique flavors and spices.

After all Paella is made and sampled by the students, Ola’s bar team will teach our guests how to make both red and white Sangria, using fresh local and tropical produce.

The clock then starts. The group will be split into teams. Each team will have to recreate the dish created by Chef Jose, being allowed to add their own special seasonings and flavors. Then each team will have to make 1- red and 1- white sangria.

The catch: The group is not allowed to write down any of the recipes. This must all be done by memory. Each team will be judge on flavor, creativity and presentation.
